Call for Proposals

The 2018 Leadership Symposium will bring together over 300 service managers, provincial staff and community organizations from across Ontario.

The 2018 Leadership Symposium, Pursuing New Opportunities, New Ways: One Mission will provide delegates with the opportunity to discuss internal and external changes and change approaches that impact planning and the effects those plans have on members of our communities.  This two day event endeavors to equip delegates with the information, tools, resources and introduce best practices that will assist in leading and championing change in human services.

We are seeking proposals for plenary and breakout sessions from OMSSA members, their community partners, provincial and federal government and other human service organizations in Ontario, across Canada and internationally.

Submit your engaging proposal; excite conference delegates with details of your organization’s programs, initiatives or ground-breaking ideas.  Showcase your innovative community partnerships, creative use of funds, space, people and other resources to champion change and best serve those in your community.

Sessions should be designed to be interactive, provide ample time for dialogue, audience questions and the exchange of ideas.  Supplemental materials can be sent to OMSSA before the Leadership Symposium and distributed to conference delegates for review in advance of sessions.
