Support for Service Managers

The Housing and Homelessness Resource Centre will provide, on an as needed basis, the tools, training, and other resources necessary to undertake the full range of planning activities required to successfully develop and complete a Local Plan. These resources have been developed recognizing the broad needs from Service managers, the differeing capacities to undertake stratgic planning projects and the flexibility inherent in the accountabi;ity structure of housing and homelessness planning in Ontario.

These supports will be delivered by Housing and Homelessness Resource Centre staff, external consultants, peer-to-peer networks and through other methods such as an interactive website. Through the Housing and Homelessness Resource Centre, Service Managers will have better tools to build capacity and meet their obligation to prepare and approve their Local Plan by January 1, 2014.
