Professional Development - NetworkingOMSSA understands that the opportunity to learn from colleagues is one of the key methods of staying updated with the latest policy and program information. Hearing how other CMSMs interpret and implement policies and programs allows us to build on successes and not re-invent the proverbial wheel. As such, OMSSA offers structured networking opportunities throughout the year in children services, homelessness and Ontario Works. And there is no need to travel to the OMSSA office where meetings are held - you can participate by teleconference. Agendas are informed by OMSSA members providing input into the issues they would like to discuss - resulting in an excellent opportunity to learn and hear from colleagues around the province about the issues which matter to you.
