"OMSSA Members are well informed."
OMSSA provides a wide range of services to its members primarily in the program areas of social assistance, children's services, social housing and services to address homelessness. Services include:

Representing our members' interests at the community, provincial and national levels (see Social Policy)
Learning and educational opportunities (see Conferences and Seminars, Professional Development or Consultation and Organizational Development)
Information collection and dissemination
Communication and networking

Mini-connection - a bi-monthly update on key OMSSA activities, distributed to voting members and associate members
Quick-connection - a brief, alert-style communiqué advising members of important time-sensitive issues
Tele-connect - issue-specific conference calls facilitating information sharing and networking among issues
Reports and Letters - OMSSA periodically produces position papers, conducts surveys, and makes presentations to various government ministries. Copies of these are posted and archived on this site
