OMSSA's Member Networks provide a valuable opportunity to connect with and learn from human services colleagues across the province to:
share resources and best practices
compare experiences in interpreting and implementing policies and programs
identify emerging issues, capacity gaps and professional development needs
find possible solutions to common challenges
stay informed on key trends, developments and policy affecting the sector
OMSSA currently operates four issue-specific networks:
network meetings (by conference call and face-to-face) with member-driven agendas and updates on provincial policy and key emerging developments
requests for information (RFI) process, to gain key information or input from network peers
online discussion forums (coming soon)
a shared library of relevant resources (coming soon)
To opt-in to participate in one of OMSSA's Networks, please email Chantille Davis. Please include your name, email address, and indicate which of the four Networks you'd like to opt into.
Once OMSSA's Members' Portal launches later this fall, members will be able to opt-in via their Members' Portal Account.
Once you are opted-in to any of OMSSA's Networks, you'll receive email notifications about upcoming Network calls and meetings.
Once OMSSA's Members' Portal launches later this fall, all Network members will receive details on how to access dedicated portals, document libraries and discussion forums for each Network that they participate in.
