OMSSA thanks our outgoing President, Henry Wall, for his service and contributions to the Association going back to 2017, as Treasurer, Vice-President, and then as OMSSA’s President for the last two years. He dedicated his time and efforts to the sector while continuing in his role as Chief Administrative Officer with the Kenora District Services Board.
STU BEUMER
OMSSA thanks outgoing Board Member, Stu Beumer, for his service and contributions to the Association going back to 2021, and as the Chair of OMSSA’s Education Committee. He dedicated his time and efforts to the sector, while continuing in his role as Director of Ontario Works with the City of Hamilton.
POLLY SMITH
OMSSA thanks outgoing Board Member, Polly Smith, for her service and contributions to the Association going back to 2021, and as the Chair of OMSSA’s Social Assistance Network and Sector Leads. She dedicated her time and efforts to the sector, while continuing in her role as Director of Employment and Social Services with the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

The 2025 OMSSA AGM featured a secure online election to fill six vacancies. OMSSA thanks all 10 candidates who put their names forward to serve on our Board of Directors.
Each candidate spoke at the meeting and shared a little bit about themselves and their goals as potential candidates for OMSSA’s Board of Directors.
The six candidates who were elected/re-elected to the 2025-2026 Board are:
